Reluctant Prince Synopsis:
Betrayal lies cloaked in shadow.
Seventeen year old Ryleigh Donnovan is certain her life is cursed. Nothing ever goes smoothly, and her first job interview is no exception. An earthquake rocks the building, sending Ryleigh on a frantic search for her younger sister, a search which lands her in the hospital. Terrified they’ll push her for answers she can’t afford to give, Ryleigh flees with a mysterious stranger.
Jackson Maynard is about to be ordained as a Death Dealer, a warrior for the Kingdom of Cymmera, but first he must pass one more test. When he fails to acquire the human girl the prophet has chosen, he’s forced to stand trial for treason. Banished from his realm, he seeks out the girl from the vision, Ryleigh Donnovan, and together they embark on a journey to save his dying kingdom.

Review:
When I first saw the cover of this book I thought it must be about some serious matter with the guy being forced to do something or get married to someone by force and after reading it I can say it kind of was except for the marriage part
It was a great short read I enjoyed it thoroughly and i'm sure you would too but like every good thing it had its faults too. what i didn't like about it was that it was to rushed, there wasn't much character development and everything happened in the span of like 4 or 5 days but its the first book so it can be forgiven
The characters were well most were okay had their reasons for how they reacted and the protagonist were also well written but who i really really didn't like was Mia she was just too babyish! for the first 100 pages i thought she was 8, it was not until Dakota came that i realized that she was 14. and throughout the book Ryleigh and Jackson literally spoon fed her.
Any way in the end i really liked it and if you're into 200 page long light reads then you should check it out!
