Book Review : Rules of Protection By Alison Bliss

"It’s rule breaker Emily Foster's birthday, and like everyone at The Jungle Room, she just wants to get some action. Unfortunately, she stumbles on the wrong kind, witnessing a mob hit. To protect her, she's entered into the Witness Protection Program with by-the-book Special Agent Jake Ward as her chaperone.

When the location of their safe house is compromised, Jake stashes Emily deep in the Texas backwoods. The city-girl might be safe from the Mafia, but she has to contend with a psychotic rooster, a narcoleptic dog, crazy cowboys, and the danger of losing her heart to the one man she can’t have.

Jake's as hot as he is infuriating, and she can't help but push all his buttons to loosen him up. Their mutual, sizzling sexual attraction poses a dilemma: Jake's determined to keep her safe and out of the wrong hands; she's determined to get into the right ones—his."

This book was amazing like beyond the world amazing i loved everything about it to the point that i'm thinking of taking it to my grave.

a woman named Emily foster (we don't know her real name) witnessed a murder and is put int the witness protection program where she meet a mega hottie agent named Jake

so i know that sounds boring but trust it was not. i couldn't stop like i literally binge read it, i even failed my test because of its awesomeness. it was sooo fucking hilarious i cannot begin to tell you how many times i choked on water because of it it was that funny ( i think i scared my friend my laughing so much)

The chemistry was super steamy hot like i just wanted them to pounce on each other every time they were alone.there banter was the best like it didn't stop they just kept fighting and hilariously fighting.

“Damn it, Emily. I’m responsible for your safety.”
“Then wear a condom!”
“Jesus,” he said, breathing out hard.
“I was right before. You definitely have multiple personalities.”
My eyes narrowed. “Yeah, well maybe I do, and none of them like you!”

I even loved the supporting characters.they were all just soo bad ass and funny and their names were..well interesting.

So conclusion this book was AMAZING and if you love hilarious books with steamy banters and crazy (in a good way) characters then you should definitely read this hell if you don't like those things you should still read it!

Characters

Emily

She was a amazing character to read.she was fun, realistic, hilarious, perverted and totally bad ass . she didn't cry about everything she jumped up and fought it

She fought back every time the guy thoght she couldnt do something and alway had a smartass comment for something

“Jake smiled, as if he enjoyed my temper tantrum. “Patience is a virtue.”
“Yeah, well, so is virginity, but I don’t have that anymore, either.”

Jake

He was an alpha male protector kind of guy but not serious and creepy. he was fun and made a lot of jabs at Emily not that i could blame him she kept pushing his buttons

“Jesus,” he said, exasperated. “When we leave here, I’m stopping to buy you a self-help book.”

He was a good guy and well respected by everyone and not a total jerk ( at some points)he was fun and had great friends which reminds since Emily has him can i have cowboy ? just a suggestion ;)
