BEAUTIFUL SERIES, BOOK FIVE - MAY BE READ ON ITS OWN OR AS A PART OF THE SERIES.

When Jonathan decided to help Lisa, he was trying to atone in some way for his past sins. He certainly wasn't expecting to be pulled into a night full of hiding out from the press with a journalist called Sandra Haegen, and almost being choked to death by a rockstar in love with his ex.

When Sandra decided to help Lisa by feeding Perry, she was just trying to be a good person. She also wasn't expecting to spend the night hiding from the press. Even more so, she wasn't expecting to spend the night with one of Australia's hottest young actors, Jonathan Masters. She also wasn't expecting to save his life.

And that's just the beginning.

From there, these two must find a way live with the past and look to the future - no matter what the personal cost.

Exclusive Except:
The next morning, I head into work to find yet another gift waiting for me on my desk. It’s a small white box with a blue ribbon tied around it, and the sight of it makes me stop in my doorway and immediately pull out my phone.
“This needs to stop,” I say to myself with an annoyed shake of my head as I pull up Jonathan’s number and dial. He picks up within two rings.

“Good morning, Red,” he chirps.

“Stop sending me things,” I demand immediately.

“You’ve got the wrong guy this time. Whatever you have, it wasn’t me. Maybe it was from that pretty boy you were kissing in the papers the other day.”

“He’s not a pretty boy. You’re a pretty boy.”

“That’s very sweet of you to say,” he jokes.

“Well, I’m a sweetheart, what can I say. Listen, sorry to attack you, I should have checked the card first.”

“You can call me anytime, for anything. I won’t hold it against you.”

“Ok,” I laugh. “I’m hanging up now.”

“Alright, you do that. But, Red, when am I going to see you again?”

“I haven’t decided on that yet.”

“You’re hurting me. I just want to be your friend and you’re putting up road blocks.”

“I’m totally not buying this friend act.”

“You should, because it can’t be more unless you want it to be. Besides, we have fun. We get along. You want fun, right?”

“You’re trying too hard, Jonathan. I’m going now.”

I can hear the smile in his voice. “Bye, Red.”

Hitting the end call button, I walk over to my desk and pull the blue ribbon on the box to get to the card.

For your tastebuds.
Call me.
Brad

Smiling, I open the box and find a red velvet cupcake inside. When I bite into it–and yes, I eat it immediately–it’s the softest, most flavor-filled baked treat I have ever had the pleasure of eating–and I've eaten a lot, so I know what I’m talking about.

“You are very popular lately,” Erin, our receptionist comments on her way past my office. “You’re getting more deliveries than anyone else here. And the guy who dropped that off was H-O-T. Oh my lord, you are one lucky woman.”

“He was here?” I ask, pointing at the box as I talk through a mouthful of cake.

“I think so. Dark hair, brown eyes, tatts all over his arms? He was wearing a white bonds shirt, a pair of jeans, and some Vans. He didn't seem like a courier to me.”

“That’s him alright. How long ago?”

“Maybe an hour? I told him you don’t get in until nine.”

I swallow the last of the cake and lick the crumbs off my fingers and my lips, apologizing that there was only one in the box as I do. Then I thank Erin for dropping by and when she leaves, turn to my phone again, this time ringing the correct person for a thank you.

Release Day Launch: Cora Carmack's ALL BROKE DOWN

ABD RDL Banner   Yowza! We are extremely excited to bring you the Release Day Launch for Cora Carmack's ALL BROKE DOWN!! ALL BROKE DOWN is a New Adult Contemporary Romance novel being published by HarperCollins, and it is the 2nd book in The Rusk University Series.
                                               All Broke Down

Amazon ** Barnes and Noble ** iTunes

About ALL BROKE DOWN: In this second book in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack’s New Adult, Texas-set Rusk University series, which began with ALL LINED UP, a young woman discovers that you can’t only fight for what you believe in . . . sometimes you have to fight for what you love. Dylan fights for lost causes. Probably because she used to be one. Environmental issues, civil rights, corrupt corporations, and politicians—you name it, she’s probably been involved in a protest. When her latest cause lands her in jail overnight, she meets Silas Moore. He’s in for a different kind of fighting. And though he’s arrogant and infuriating, she can’t help being fascinated with him. Yet another lost cause. Football and trouble are the only things that have ever come naturally to Silas. And it’s trouble that lands him in a cell next to do-gooder Dylan. He’s met girls like her before—fixers, he calls them, desperate to heal the damage and make him into their ideal boyfriend. But he doesn’t think he’s broken, and he definitely doesn’t need a girlfriend trying to change him. Until, that is, his anger issues and rash decisions threaten the only thing he really cares about, his spot on the Rusk University football team. Dylan might just be the perfect girl to help. Because Silas Moore needs some fixing after all.

                      ABD Teaser 1

Excerpt:
I think I get it then. That decision I saw in her eyes back in the kitchen. That’s what this, what I’m about for her, too. I’m just another part of whatever rebellion she started earlier today. About doing what she wants, not what’s expected of her.
“We’re not talking about me, though,” she says. “So you went to meet your friend, and then what happened?”
She keeps her eyes down as she picks up the gauze and begins winding it snugly around the knuckles of one hand, and then the other.
“He said the wrong thing.”
“Which was?”
“Dylan.” Now it’s her that’s pushing too hard. I didn’t want to talk about things with my friends, and I won’t talk about them with her, either, no matter how gorgeous she is.
“I’ll guess. You were mad about what he did, and he wasn’t sorry.”
“This isn’t middle school, Pickle. He didn’t hurt my feelings. He said some shit he had no business saying, and it pissed me off. The end.”
“But you don’t think some of that anger stems from what you feel is a betrayal of your friendship?”
She finishes taping down the last of the gauze, but doesn’t let go of my hand.
“I think you’re analyzing me again. Making things more complicated than they are.”
“And I think you’re just a guy who doesn’t like to admit he has feelings.” She drags out the word, teasing me with some goofy smile on her face. I turn my hand over so I can clutch her wrist. I curlmy other bandaged hand around her waist and pull her closer.
“I feel plenty of things.”
The teasing stops. She swallows.
“I wasn’t talking about that kind of feeling.”
With her standing and me sitting, I’m eye level with her chest. I see the sharp rise and fall as she sucks in a breath. I want her in my lap again, straddling me this time.
“Doesn’t mean we can’t talk about that kind of feeling. Or experiment with it.”
“Is that Stella girl an ex?”
I cough, surprised. My throat twists uncomfortably, and it takes me a couple of solid breaths to get a hold on myself.
“Ah, no. Stella and I have never dated.”
“Have you—”
“Do you ever run out of questions?”
“Not ever.” She turns playful again, and I’m done doing this the careful way. If she wants a rebellion, I’ll be the one to give it to her. I want her against me, and I’m tired of waiting.
I pull her forward, insinuating my knees between hers, and her body naturally follows, settling across my thighs. Her lips part, but she catches herself before she gasps this time. I keep her steady with my hands at her waist and say, “I’ll make you a deal. A question for a kiss.”
Tentatively, she lays her palms against my shoulders. They rest there, her grip light and casual. She ponders my offer for a moment, and it drives me mad that she can do that while our hips are inches away from alignment.
“Okay then. Are you—”
I cut her off. “Not so fast, Dylan Brenner. I’ve already answered one question. We’ve got to settle up first.”
I wrap her braid around my hand like I’ve been waiting to do all night, and I use it to pull her head back just enough that I can crush my mouth against hers.

“Don’t play games with me, Kat. Do whatever you need to do to reverse it.” He leaned in and gripped her arms.

“What are you talking about?” How could he be so calm after that? So seemingly in control and focused on her reversing something? She could barely wrap her mind around coherent thought. A curse? She recalled her parting words to him all those years ago. He must’ve believed it to be real. She hadn’t intended such.Beyond that...wow. That meant he hadn’t been satisfied by any woman since her. Her heart squeezed. She owned a piece of this extraordinary man that no other could claim. That didn’t mean she trusted him farther than she could spit. Even if she’d meant to cast a curse, she had no clue how to reverse it. Based on the stubborn set of his lips, he would push this until he got what he wanted.

And there's the tiny matter of the curse she gave him.
May you never find satisfaction with another woman
. Billionaire and former druid Matthew Ryan hasn't forgotten the curse, or the witch who gave it to him. Kat's unexpected return means the curse will finally be broken. Unfortunately, his libido has other ideas―like how to get her back into his bed one last time. But far more worrying is his suspicion that Kat is the seventh Pleiades witch. Because while he's turned his back on his druidic ways, he's still bound to protect the woman who made his life hell...

Blog Tour: HERE WITH ME by Heidi McLaughlin Excerpt

HERE WITH ME by Heidi McLaughlin

October 2014
                                       Contemporary Romance

BOOK SUMMARY:

Ryley Clarke has grown up with the military in her blood, with both parents serving their country. Ryley knows the risks of being married to the military. But when the unthinkable happens, and her future husband is killed in action, Ryley can barely survive... until Evan's twin brother, Nate, helps her pick up the pieces.

After serving on a special mission with the military for six years, Evan Archer returns home to find the unthinkable - the love of his life, Ryley Clarke - engaged to his brother, Nate.  With Nate on deployment, Evan needs to figure out what happened in his absence, and more importantly, how to win Ryley back from the man he once considered his best friend, but now thinks of as his rival.

EXCERPT

“Ryley, I’m going to ask you again why are you here today?”

For the first time since I walked into the door I look at the therapist. Her hair is cut short, framing her face. It’s brown, but muted. There’s no vibrancy to her color. It’s dull and outdated, much like her couch. Her white, long-sleeved shirt is buttoned high, as if it wants to choke the life out of her. Her cat-like glasses perch on the edge of her nose and she reclines in her chair with her pad of paper resting on her lap and her pen posed to write down my words at a moment’s notice.

“I’m here because six years ago I lost the love of my life, but now he’s back from the dead and in a few weeks I’m set to marry my best friend – his brother.”

Once upon a time I thought Finn and I would live happily ever after, but real life doesn't always have a happy ending. He's testing my trust, and I'm losing faith in the man I thought I'd spend the rest of my life with, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it. Forgiveness is fragile, and some fractures never fully heal...
One mistake—a slip in a moment of weakness—might cost me everything I've worked so hard for. The thing about trust is that it's a lot easier to lose than it is to build. Just as I'm about to give up and surrender to the demons from my past, an unexpected threat reminds me what I'm best at: protecting the woman I love. Whether or not she wants me, I will fight for Carrie and our daughter, and I will keep them safe—no matter the cost.
Even if I have to put my life and my heart on the line.

Review
This is a standalone novel but i suggest you read all the books as you will get to know why a character reacts that way or acts out or etc. but even if you dont there are recaps of what goes on in the other books so you aren't totally lost.

In the previous book Finn and Carrie had gotten there HEA but this book look into 3 yrs after the got married and now have a daughter named Susan ,we are shown that there life isn't always perfect and in a REAL marriage there are ups and down .

Finn is struggling and had a slip up,Carrie is outraged that he kept it from her again and asks him to leave. Finn then swears to never fall back again and believes that the only thing that can make him better is Carrie and the love they have for each other but Carrie disagrees and believes that he needs help from a therapist and she cannot help him and this causes more fights between them and so on

Along with their fights there is new problem going on a man wants to kill Carrie because of what her father did to his daughter, her father tell Finn about and also that he knows whats going on between them .he arranges a weekend off to a cabin and Carrie surprisingly agrees.

During the weekend you will see more fighting and super sexy scenes which will make and break your heart.

There's a lot more which happens in the book which i cant tell you because it will ruin the whole book for you;Anyway it was a great read and was beautifully written with the author focusing on the main points about how they had to work it out to make their marriage work and how that you have to fight for you loved ones and how getting over stuff is not easy.

Recommended: to those people who like beautiful books with real life problems and realistic features.

Cover Reveal: Hundred to One by Freya Baker

Today, we have the cover reveal for Freya Baker’s Hundred to One. I am so excited by this cover reveal!! So here we go with all the information! IMG_7804 Title: Hundred To One (Cedar Tree #2) Author: Freya Barker Release date: December 29, 2014 Genre: Contemporary Romance Cover Model: Steve Gehrke Photographer: Ivan Avila Cover Design: Rebel Edit & Design One Hundred to One Goodreads     IMG_7989 About Hundred to One: Arlene Bowers is as tough as nails. She has survived a less than perfect marriage, managing to move past it to run her own diner. Her abrasive exterior has always been a way for her to hide behind the darkness and pain that she has endured, but a recent, violent attack and several disturbing phone calls have that tight hold on her emotions wavering. Seb Griffin showed up in Cedar Tree eight months ago and was hired on at Arlene's Diner as a cook. An ex-con with secrets of his own, Seb walks a fine line. Since he began working at the diner, he's developed feelings for his fierce, stubborn boss, and the need to keep his distance from her, to protect her, is a daily struggle. When it appears that Arlene's past has come back, rearing its ugly head while her defenses are low, Seb steps up and claims responsibility for Arlene, praying that he can keep her safe from whatever is coming her way. **Due to content of a sexually explicit nature, this book is recommended for a mature audience only.**     Excerpt: Seb hasn’t moved from his spot and is still looking at me. “What?” My hands are on my hips and if my chin was sticking up any higher my head would roll off my back. “You were nice.” He says with an eyebrow raised. “So? I can be nice. Just cause I haven’t had a reason to before doesn’t mean I don’t know how.” And I immediately busy myself wiping down the counters… again. “Uh huh…” Comes from right behind me before I feel arms sliding around my waist. “I like you nice.” He mumbles with his face buried in my neck, which has my body on high alert and aching. “Don’t get used to it.” I manage, but I can’t resist leaning back a little, feeling his hard chest behind me. One big hand slides up under my work shirt and his rough fingers skim my stomach. My instant reaction is to suck that baby right in, but he catches me. “So soft. It’s nice.” Just the feeling of a man’s hands on me; this man’s hands on me, causes me to moan. It’s been so long since I have felt anything other than anger from a man’s hand. There is no anger in Seb’s touch, just a teasing gentleness that makes my wild side flare up and take notice. When I feel his callused fingertips brush the underside of my breast, then slip under my bra, my breath hitches in anticipation. Damn I want his hands on me, his mouth on me. My nipples are so tight, they are almost painful, and when his touch finally finds them I can’t hold back anymore. “Seb…” Reaching behind me I pull his head down and attack his mouth. My tongue eagerly finding entrance and tasting his. Hands tangling in his hair. I can feel his resistance waning and a greedy whimper escapes me. He breaks the kiss, looks at me with eyes that are almost as black as midnight. Turns and lifts me up on the counter, initiating himself between my legs. Pulling at my knees so that my wet and aching centre is lined up with what is a mouthwatering erection. Instinctively I wrap my legs around him, pressing him closer to my core. His hands now both under my shirt and working at releasing my bra. He shoves it out of the way along with my shirt and latches on to my breast while plumping the other with his hand. And I have lost all reason. “So fucking tasty.” Is all I can hear before he switches to the other side. Eager to touch him, my hands trace his arms, shoulders and with my fingers I start pulling up his shirt, needing to touch his skin. The phone rings. “Fuck!” Seb swears as he leans his head to my sternum, all movements stilled by the insistent ringing. He pulls my shirt down and half in a daze I reach over to grab the receiver off the hook. “A- … Arlene’s Diner.” I manage to get out. “You think you can get away with that? You fucking whore! I’ll teach you…” IMG_8079 Author Bio:   Freya Barker has always been creative. One woman
One man
An empty bed and breakfast
A summer storm
One night they'll never forget - so they thought...

When my aunt passed away and left me her dilapidated bed and breakfast it was all so surreal. I hadn't been back to that beach in many years, and the idea of revisiting left me sad and vulnerable.
I never planned on having guests. In fact, I just wanted to close up the place and sell it, so that I could move on with my life.

Then the storm happened.
Taken by surprise, I planned on waiting for it to pass. The house creaked and the power went out. That's when someone knocked on the door.

He was a stranger, dripping wet, cold, and looking for shelter. I couldn't turn him away...

What happened next between us opened new doors, changing everything I thought I wanted for myself.

The only question is if I can trust him, or will his secrets destroy it all?
